Photos from the Cochon Ball: A Pig Field Folly. It was a day of life size foosball, art, and some of the tastiest pig in town to celebrate the day of St. Anthony, the Patron Saint of swine. New York based artist Alison Meehan teamed up with Prospect 1, the folks from Cochon, and Sara Roahen, author of Gumbo Tales, to raise money to rebuild the Maveric Heritage Ranch. Chef Donald Link of Cochon was cooking up whole pigs on site while 26 foosball players took the field. Meehan, who is known for using meat as her subject, plans to use this time to converse with those in attendance about what food means to them. It took place at The Brickyard, the ruins of an old molasses warehouse in the Bywater.
